A New Chapter Begins
New Name. New Location. Same Commitment to Helping People Move Forward.
After more than 25 years of helping people recover from injury, persistent pain, neurological conditions, and chronic health challenges, we're excited to announce the beginning of a new chapter.
We're moving to a new location and introducing a new name: Adaptiv Health & Recovery.
While our name and surroundings may be changing, one thing isn't.
Our commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation remains exactly the same.
For many of you, we've been privileged to be part of your recovery journey over the years. We've celebrated the wins, navigated the setbacks, and watched people achieve things they never thought possible. That privilege is something we never take for granted, and it's something that will continue to shape everything we do.
Why Adaptiv?
Recovery isn't always a straight line.
Bodies adapt.
Brains adapt.
Nerves adapt.
Muscles adapt.
People adapt.
The name Adaptiv reflects what modern rehabilitation has taught us—that meaningful recovery is driven by the body's remarkable capacity to adapt. Whether recovering from a sporting injury, stroke, concussion, persistent pain, CRPS, hypermobility, or a chronic health condition, our goal is to create the right environment for positive adaptation to occur.
A Broader Vision
Our new home allows us to continue expanding the services we provide while staying true to the philosophy that has guided us from the very beginning.
We'll continue offering rehabilitation for:
Musculoskeletal injuries
Neurological conditions
Concussion
Persistent pain
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD)
Peripheral nerve conditions including GBS, CIDP and MMN
Exercise physiology and chronic disease management
Healthy ageing, strength, fitness and lifestyle programs
You'll also see some exciting new educational resources built around our NIMMY™ and RECOSYSTEM™ models, helping explain complex conditions in ways that are practical, understandable, and empowering.
The Same Philosophy
Our approach has always been about more than treating a diagnosis.
Every person arrives with a unique story, goals, strengths, challenges, and support systems. We believe successful rehabilitation means understanding the whole person, not just the injury or condition.
That's why our philosophy remains simple:
Understand.
Helping you understand your condition, your body, and the science behind recovery.
Build.
Building strength, confidence, capacity, resilience, and independence.
Change.
Creating meaningful, lasting improvements through evidence-based rehabilitation and the remarkable ability of the human body to adapt.
Working Together
New location in Ballarat Family Health Care
As always, we will continue working closely with your GP, specialists, physiotherapists, surgeons, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other members of your healthcare team. We believe the best outcomes happen when healthcare professionals collaborate around the person—not just the condition.
Thank You
To everyone who has trusted us with their rehabilitation over the past two decades—thank you.
Your stories, resilience, and determination have shaped who we are today.
We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces into our new home as Adaptiv Health & Recovery.
It's a new name.
It's a new location.
But it's the same passion, the same values, and the same commitment to helping people understand, build, and change.
We can't wait to welcome you.
